Umm... I hope y'all didn't notice that almost a whole year has slipped by on this poor neglected blog. (I just found a draft saved from August, maybe I was trying) I have quite a few reasons, but still embarrassed that it did happen. Always room for resolutions. So ringing out the old, this is a bit of what we did since our last post. ; ) Happy New Year & the very best in 2009!!!

ESTABLISHED 1996

Jonathan & I have been married for almost 11 years. We have had and are still having a great adventure together. When I think of the word adventure, I think of action, romance, suspense, excitement, nail biting, thrills & spills, solace & joy. I could probably go on but I think you get my drift. We have experienced it a lot and I know plenty more is around the corner.

We crave the family life. It is a good thing too, since Jonathan's family is quite large at 51 people and when my siblings and their families are all together we stand at 18 people. Count those hotdogs!

Through our years together we have lived in Idaho, Colorado, Utah and are currently in Southern Alberta, Canada. When our siblings come to visit their parents we get to share face time too. It's a two for one deal that is priceless.

Fratellis ~ Yup, they totally rock! I first bought them when we moved to Canada in March just for the vintage vixen album cover. The first 10 seconds in I was hooked. A must have!

Joss Stone ~ Incredible! Soulful & sexy, she "defies natural explanation" and she is only 20! If you haven't had the pleasurable experience of being taken away into love land with her captivating vocals, do so now!

Lily Allen ~ She is so sassy & cool, like a delicate flower who could potentially kick your butt. The cheeky English broad has quite a mouth so be sure to pick the clean lyrics. She has about 5 safe fun songs, the rest are not for ladies. My picks are LDN, Smile, Littlest Things, Take What You Take, Friend of Mine, Nan Your a Window Shopper. However, her sound and her voice are fabulous. Funny how "it" works like that.

The Charlatans ~ This takes me back, old school stuff, but they popped into my head the other day and it was fun to purchase a few songs and go back to the days of dr. martins and pegged-leg jeans. (also purchased same day, some Morrisey, & new Dave Gahan) Good times.
